Job Description

Position Summary:

* The primary job function is to monitor and operate inserter units and peripheral equipment to process document processing jobs according to operating procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

* Manipulates controls on intelligent inserter control console.

* High School Diploma Required

Knowledge and Skills:

* Under general supervision, monitors and operates inserter units and peripheral equipment to process document processing jobs according to operating procedures.
* Basic technical knowledge and skill in the operation and maintenance of inserter equipment.
* Able to read and interpret technical reference documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Able to follow established procedures and specific instruction relating to computer operations, environmental and security controls, and record keeping/documentation.
* Logical and analytical ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve systems and equipment problems, to take appropriate action in cases of malfunction and error messages, and to run and secure balanced reports.
* Requires punctuality and good attendance record for assigned shift to ensure that security and operating controls are in place and assignments are completed in a timely manner.
