Job Description

Overview

The IT Support Technician II position is responsible for end user support of computer workstations and associated peripherals. This may include diagnosis and troubleshooting of all organizational software, hardware and mobile devices. Position may be assigned to any Atlantic Health facility, and hours may be modified at the discretion of Information Technology Management as necessary to provide 24/7 customer support.

Responsibilities

* Essential Functions:
* Provide first level technical support to the employees and other customers of Atlantic Health System
* Provide customers with accurate progress information on their requests
* Document and classify incidents and service requests in the service management system
* Provide initial support, investigation and diagnosis for all incidents
* Resolve, confirm resolution and close incidents or escalate calls to the appropriate queues
* Answer all email, voice mail, pages and written documents in a timely manner
* Coordinate with managers and analysts on all emergency outages
* Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as needed
* Work with other ISS staff members and/or vendors to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of all organizational hardware and software
* Run reports and downloads per documented procedures
* Monitor systems including servers or interfaces
* Must be able to type 20 words per minute
* Ability to lift up to sixty pounds
* Other duties not previously outlined



Qualifications

Educational Requirements, Certifications and Qualifications:

* Minimum of an Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate or 1 year related work experience
* HDl, lTlL, Microsoft, COMPTIA certifications desirable
* Candidates who have used or supported Epic, or who have worked in a healthcare role are preferred
