Job Duties

Manages team(s) of Senior Professional and Professional employees to define test requirements, strategies, and design. Coaches, trains and mentors direct reports, providing opportunities for employee career development. Has full performance management responsibilities, developing goals and assigning work to staff to ensure that broad and strategic goals and objectives are met. Delegates assignments to subordinate managers/staff. Staff may be in multiple locations (domestic and/or international). Responsible for coordinating activities, staffing, and scheduling requirements across locations. Develops relationships in other areas/groups.

Has some hands-on testing responsibility. Duties include partnering with product owners/business leaders to define and to write test requirements, strategies, and design. Work with development and project management teams to devise and integrate quality control. Has influence over test infrastructure development and direction. Help implement best QA practices, and applies standards across all phases.

Authorizes projects, sets priorities, and administers budgets. Participates in long-range planning. Responsible for ensuring overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are attained. Participates in more critical day-to-day operational issues, removes barriers for team, and resolves complex issues. Demonstrates business discernment in the planning and development process for project goals.

Create testing infrastructure in order to measure and quantify work, to improve quality standards and processes. Quantify and measure QA activities to provide metrics and report to stakeholders/project teams.

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

* BS Degree Required; Master Degree preferred
* Has 5+ years related experience in QC/QA environment
* Has 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a management/project management role in a highly matrixed environment.
* Experience with cloud based testing including GreenPlum and Alpine
* EMR
* Strong project release experience covering all QA release cycle phases.
* Familiar with DevOps methodology
* Strong project and product management skills. Results oriented.
* Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
* Subject matter expertise with quality functions/technology (I.e. Hadoop, Cloud, Python, SQL, Manual Testing, Performance and Automation)
* Real Estate industry knowledge preferred
