Job Description

Position: Lead Systems Analyst

Location: 4 Overlook Point, Lincolnshire, IL 60069)

* Participates in the construction (system analysis, configuration, and testing) of proprietary benefits system (Total Benefits Administration, UPoint) for a single service/product line. Contributes to high-level analysis; perform review of analysis and agree with other colleagues on all analysis, system configuration, technical documentation, and testing. Coordinating production reviews, and the stability of all newly released projects into production, and completing a transition to operations for ongoing support. Work with clients to discuss technical requirements, set expectations, and manage involvement in analysis activities. Meet with decision makers, systems owners and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. Develop and execute integrated systems and testing strategy for aligned service. Review client requirements, perform gap and/or impact analysis, and delegate as appropriate, data, foundation, and systems analysis in preparation for service-specific cloning and configuration. Review and provide feedback on analysis, test plans and standard operation procedures. Maintain and execute service-specific iteration plans for construction tasks (including all batch tasks). Mentor-aligned analysts and specialists on quality and client-specific aspects. Ensure smooth transition to production. Participates in the overall iterative deployment process. Review, inspect, and complete scope/pricing analysis and assess priority of change order requests as applicable. Assess risk and develop risk mitigation strategies. Communicate status and risk summary to all parties involved. Coordinate work with the supporting teams/shared services (UPoint, AD,DVS, CNNC, DBP, etc.). Review and maintain project schedule.

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in systems analysis or related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: system capabilities and functionality; TBA system; project-based work structures and project lifecycle models; DB2 UPoint, YBR; benefits administration in Health Management (HM); basic event flow configuration and testing; translating client requirements and/or legislation into system specifications and test plans; and conducting research into application development issues and products.
