Responsibilities:

* Interact with users to identify and articulate their needs and ensure these requirements are effectively incorporated into software designs and development
* Participate in the release of high quality software; certify the overall quality of the system and ensure each release is ready to ship
* Collaborate with internal product teams to influence upcoming features and improve workflows
* Be an advocate for the user and represent the user in product design and delivery
* Work closely with product development teams to identify, prioritize, and ensure key issues are fixed for a release
* Evaluate and provide feedback on new software designs through design reviews and implementation reviews
* Perform daily testing, analysis, investigation, and identification of software problems
* Write conceptual documentation, guided tutorials, and blogs
* Clearly present product demonstrations to customers, partners, and internal collaborators

Requirements

* Strong familiarity with Esri's ArcGIS platform, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise
* 5+ years industry experience testing software, requirements gathering, and documenting processes
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
* Proven ability to deliver work within time constraints, in teams and individually
* Effective organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to understand new technology concepts quickly and apply them accurately through an evolving, dynamic environment
* US citizenship and ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance
* Bachelor's or master's in GIS, computer science, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications:

* Prior experience with software development and release of commercial software products
* Experience with Python or JavaScript for troubleshooting and software testing, as well as web protocols and formats such as REST and JSON
