Job Description

What's the role?

We are Sensor and Probe Analytics (SPA) team within Content Engineering Development group at HERE. Our dynamic and highly energetic team's mission is to utilize probe data collected globally (5 billon points per day) and also to utilize OEM sensor data from automobiles to detect map attributes using Machine Learning algorithms in AWS. We are responsible for developing and executing the full end to end pipeline dealing with big data and updating our map database with our detections. You will have opportunities to work with our data scientists and as well as senior engineers in the team.

* Lead architecture design, develop full stack implementation and deploy highly scalable and efficient solutions for data analytics in AWS
* Work with team members to leverage latest technologies, processes, standards, and best engineering practices.
* Respond to internal customers escalation requests and troubleshoots in E2E pipeline

Who are you?

You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the following:

* 7+ years of full stack web development experience Java, Python, Java Script, Scala, and Spring Boot/AngularJS
* 4+ years of development & deployment experience with AWS services (EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, EMR, Data Pipeline, VPC, ECS and etc.)
* Development experience with Apache Spark/Hadoop
* Development experience with relational database , PostgreSQL/GIS, NoSQL
