Job Description

Join a team with end to end DBA and Web IT service ownership. You will primarily be responsible for the 7 x 24 support

of enterprise shared and core infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Architect, design, build and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to meet global business

needs for transactional databases, data warehouse, data mark and operational applications

* Work with and provide data design and technical direction to various application and development teams
* Solve complex problems and develop proof of concepts to validate ideas and technologies
* Coordinate with various stakeholders to develop and achieve various long term objectives for data architecture
* Create and maintain best practices, standards, and templates for Connected Technologies data needs
* Ensure that backups, storage and archiving procedures are functioning as expected.
* Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front end users
* Manage security and disaster recovery aspects of all databases

Basic qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree
* Professional development - MCSE/MCITP qualification
* Experience in database administration, development, security and support of MS SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017 in

production, QA and Dev environments

* Experience setting up infrastructure on windows servers including windows clustering and active directory both on physical

datacenter and on cloud platforms

* Experience in installation, upgrade and configuration of MS SQL Server and databases in clustered and non-clustered environments
* Experience in setting up and managing SQL Server Always-On technology on windows failover cluster and availability groups.
* Experience in Backup/Recovery and performance tuning of SQL Server databases 6+ years minimum experience supporting production environment

Desired Experience:

* Masters Degree
* Experience with monitoring tools like Idera, Splunk, AppDynamics
* Experience working MS SQL Server technologies - SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
* Strong programming skills in windows PowerShell
