We live in a connected world and WiFi has become a critical component to every home. eero is the first company to deliver a whole home WiFi experience using mesh technology to make sure you never have to worry about WiFi ever again.

eero is looking for a Lead Automation Engineer to provide mentorship, technical leadership, and strategic direction. The role falls under QA but you will work across multi-functional teams and with engineering leads to prioritize automation projects and groom automation backlog.

You will help grow the existing automation framework to support complex testing scenarios and cross-team integrations while identifying areas to make the framework more flexible and re-usable.

In addition, you will be assisting team members in writing tests for new features, analyze test results for making release decisions, and automate performance testing for publishing benchmarks. You will also have the opportunity to act as a guide and mentor to other team members.

We are looking for you if ….

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
* 6+ years of meaningful industry experience, with 3+ years of experience building and handling test automation frameworks
* You have experience with iOS/Android mobile platforms and/or embedded firmware
* You have the passion and ability to learn new languages
* You are an expert in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Swift
* Ability to work independently and within a testing team

We would love it if ….

* You have experience leading high-performance automation team
* You are familiar with wireless (802.11x) and BTLE protocols
* You have experience testing wireless embedded systems or consumer electronics
