Overall Purpose

This position plays a key role in determining the future of technology decisions for the entire company. The scope of responsibilities include corporate systems infrastructure supporting all daily business functions in a fast paced environment as well as critical production systems design supporting best in class industry solutions for mobile payments (Zelle) and combating fraud for the nation's top banks.

Essential Functions

* Lead the design and review processes for new products and systems.
* Analyze existing systems to ensure they offer adequate security and are effectively meeting the needs of the organization.
* Coordinate with all areas of the organization to see that systems are working as optimally as it should.
* Analyze business requirements to identify where the company can integrate new hardware, operating systems, or connectivity solutions.
* Recommend alternative technologies and improved designs based on expert knowledge of infrastructure design and a thorough analysis of the system needs.
* Facilitate the resolution of production issues by providing expert-level insight into the entire assigned solution stack.
* Create detailed plans for the integration of new systems architecture into existing infrastructure. This includes logistical plans for the Operations areas to actually conduct the physical integrations.
* Provides technical direction and support directly to Technical and Dev-Ops teams.
* Interact with product teams to validate Product Requirements Document and approve features.
* Work with Enterprise Architects and the Architecture Council / Review Board to refine and communicate a unified vision.
* Provide effective leadership to the Architecture team and develop and manage a highly engaged, high performance team. May be responsible for managing a team of Architects.
* Support the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

* Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field.
* Proven progressive experience in technology and architecture development.
* Proven experience leading or managing teams.
* Extensive and demonstrated experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions, specifically in a high volume transaction processing systems.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
* Ability to integrate across the organization, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical staff.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

* Cloud based infrastructure experience.
* Practical experience in Dev-Ops methodologies and technology stacks.
* Certifications in network operations and design (CCAr, CCNP, etc…)
* Certifications in security (CISSP for example)

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
