Description

In addition to hands on layout design, you will be responsible for the technical coordination, management, planning, organization, work breakdown, and resource allocation of all IP layout efforts. You will be leading a team of IP layout designers in the execution and review of layouts for IP as well as keep management up-to-date on progress and issues. You will collaborate with our team on utilizing layout automation tools to upgrade existing layout efficiency. In addition you will work with our design managers on optimization of layout efficiency in area, performance, and power.

Requirements

At least of 10 years of actual hands on analog and digital layout design experience

At least 7 years of lead/coordination experience

A high level of proficiency at LVS, DRC debugging

Programming skills in any of the following are a plus: Skill, Python or Perl, etc.

Willingness to learn scripting languages such as Ruby and Python

Proactive, self-starter, problem solver, excellent communicator with strong analytical skills, and ability to work across organizational groups

Nice to Have Skills/Experience

Software development experience with OOD languages (C++, Python, Ruby, etc.)

Prefer experience working with startup companies.
