Job Description

Javelin is looking for a PHP Developer with strong Laravel chops to join our growing MarTech department. As a part of this collaborative team, you will help develop custom solutions and provide technical consultation to Creative, Business Development and Project Management teams while tackling your own piece of code in order to revolutionize our client deliverables. What you'll do:

* Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications using clean code and best practices
* Share your fresh perspective and push the envelope with new ideas for existing digital channels
* Contribute to the development of:
* custom landing pages and microsites to pair with omnichannel marketing campaigns
* custom API integrations with marketing technologies
* Assist other developers in growing their skill sets
* Other duties as needed and assigned

What you've got:

* 2+ years experience developing websites and applications (portfolio required)
* Solid PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming experience
* A working understanding of Laravel PHP framework
* Relational database experience such as writing select, insert and update statements
* Great design sense and an excellent intuition for user interface design
* Proven experience with modern web standards
* Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
* Proficiency with Photoshop
* Exposure to .NET, Node.js, Drupal/WordPress is nice to have
