JOB Description

The Entry Level Software Developer is an individual contributor within a team, responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation, and deployment of software for data and user interface applications. The Software Developer will work on cross-functional scrum team projects, as well as individual projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work closely with lead developers, architects, clients, and business analysts to build efficient solutions leveraging the appropriate technology stack.
* Analysis and design of Web, AWS and integration applications or refactoring existing code.
* Be an active member of agile scum team providing input into technical specifications, user stories and executing the assigned tasks.
* Expected to function at a high programming level with responsibility and accountability for meeting plans and schedules which may require off-hours support.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* Java Web Development, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, SQL, NoSQL
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required
* Strong communicator with the ability to interface directly with clients and analysts to ensure technical requirements and delivery align with expectations
* Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions under this methodology
* Experience in the development of service oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

* Hands on experience with NodeJS, Python, C#, Java or other open source software
* Hands on experience with Javascript Frameworks, ReactJS and/or AngularJS
* Hands on working knowledge with NoSQL and/or Relational Databases
