Job PurposeThe Junior Network Analyst position will enable you to assist with defining and implementing solutions to help users achieve optimum use of their computer networks.

Key Responsibilities

* Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
* Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
* Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
* Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
* Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Arranging scheduled upgrades.
* Investigating faults in the network.
* Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
* Microsoft Active Directory management including creating, deleting and modifying user accounts.
* Management of VMware blade enclosure and devices.
* Administering devices in Azure Portal.
* Print server management including creating objects, queues and printer objects.
* DFS Management and troubleshooting.
* File server object management.
* Exchange/office 365 mailbox administration. Including creating email rules, shared mailbox management and delegate management.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
* 2+ years of professional working experience
* An analytical mind
* An ability to learn new technologies quickly
* Good time management skills
* An ability to follow processes
* Strong documentation skills
* Good communication skills - both written and verbal
* Commercial and business awareness
