Job Description

SAIC is looking for a Test Engineer to support our Joint Range Extension (JRE) program in San Diego, Ca.

The Test Engineer will be part of a team tasked with developing tests and test documentation/procedures for the SAIC Joint Range Extension (JRE) Gateway and related systems. The JRE Gateway is a multi-protocol router of Link 16 tactical data that provides beyond line-of-sight connectivity and extended situational awareness for USAF, USMC, and other Government and International customers.

* U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
* Experience with military software testing including test and test documentation development relative to military communication systems.
* Perform analysis of software requirements using test procedures and design documentation as basis and conduct hands-on testing, software problem reporting, and the evaluation and formal reporting of test results;
* Responsible for generating, knowing and validating Test Plans and Procedures for assigned software modules;
* Interact with functional and technical counterparts to ensure software modules meet all requirement specifications
* Use of analysis tools and various type of equipment (O Scope, Logic Analyzer, etc.)
