RMC is hiring for a System Administrator with a Security+ CE to support our customer at NSWC Indian Head. The System Administrator will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting RDT&E network connected and standalone laboratories. Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, assisting in the management of a Windows domain, desktop support, virtual machine builds/deployments, supporting system integration in an RDT&E environment, troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining various lab applications, and configuration management. Additional responsibilities include the troubleshooting of networked equipment.

Two to three (2-3) years of systems administration experience in Windows and or Linux environments is required. Security + CE/DoD 8570.01 IAT-II compliance and knowledge of Navy IT/IA policies and procedures is required.

The selected candidate will be supporting the Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR) process as well as tracking and monitoring software compliance within the appropriate DoD/DoN Databases. The selected applicant must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and have excellent written and oral communications skills.

Occasional travel required.

Security Clearance: An active DoD security clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
