Job Description

HWC is looking for an IT Project Manager to manage all facets of cross functional IT projects to ensure deliverables are met within schedule and quality goals. This position will be focused on managing AWS migration, data management/visualization, web application enhancement, machine learning, and SharePoint for a Federal, Department of Homeland Security client. Successful applicants are self-motivated, customer/end user focused, confident decision-makers, and excited by the challenge of bringing Federal IT solutions into the 21st century!

Responsibilities for this position include:

* Planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects
* Reporting status, issues and risks to the manager and clients
* Identify, tracks and manage project risks and issues; including coordination for risk mitigation
* Oversee and/or develop all IT related contract deliverables
* Provide ongoing communication to provide project status to various stakeholders
* Provide troubleshooting support to SharePoint end users

Preferred qualifications include:

* Experience in Government IT environments (Security and FISMA compliance, Trusted Internet Connections or TICs, accreditation paperwork to support an Authority to Operate or ATO)
* Experience and/or understanding of AWS migration
* Experience or background in software or web application development

Minimum qualifications for this role:

* Active U.S. government SECRET clearance
* Bachelors degree in equivalent technical field
* Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant technical projects
* Familiar with cloud technology
