Intern Digital Experience

Position Summary

The JetBlue Emerging Talent (JET) internship program provides skill & professional development through participation in the developing real-world business solutions that support the delivery of strategic business initiatives. Throughout the program, interns participate in a robust programming including professional development activities, cross-functional projects, senior leader exposure, networking, and community service. The JET Program provides interns the opportunity to immerse themselves into the aviation industry while developing specific career interest or areas of study.

The Digital Experience Intern will support the Digital Experience team in delivering initiatives for the strategic Digital 2020 Program and related projects. This Intern will work on projects related to the experience on jetblue.com and JetBlue's mobile products.

Essential Responsibilities

* Support the Digital Experience team's work on maintenance and enhancements of JetBlue's Digital products on web and mobile
* Assist the team with optimizing design & UX
* Engage with business partners on projects
* Perform QA on jetblue.com and our apps
* Work on special projects
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university with focus in Business, E-commerce, Digital, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or related field
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
* Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Ability to commute to either Brooklyn Navy Yard New Lab location and Long Island City Support Center Location
* Strong attention to detail
* Effective written, verbal, organizational and presentation skills
* Experience setting up and organizing process while providing superior service
* Available for occasional overnight travel (less than 10%)
* Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
* Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

* Previous experience working in Digital, E-commerce or Entrepreneurship

Crewmember Expectations:

* Regular attendance and punctuality
* Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
* Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
* When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
* Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
* Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
* Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
