Job Overview:

The JD Edwards IT Functional Analyst (Financials and light manufacturing accounting) will be responsible for assisting in the analysis, configuration, delivery and support of financial applications in a multi-currency and multi-company environment. This individual must have strong JD Edwards Enterprise One functional experience preferably in a service industry (9.x preferred).

Initial responsibility will be to participate in and support the successful implementation of JD Edwards Enterprise One (9.2) in North America with subsequent Global implementations in other countries. This role will also support existing JD Edwards Production environments in France and Australia.

Job Responsibilities:

* Functional Support and implementation of JD Edwards Finance/Accounting Modules - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, Fixed Asset, Credit and Taxation .


* Functional Support and implementation for JD Edwards light manufacturing modules (PDM) used in the delivery of our services business to manage costing and consumption of inventory, work orders, bill of materials, Job Costing and for other Enterprise application areas and modules.


* Takes business needs and translates those needs into measurable requirements that can be coded, tested, and successfully implemented and adopted for applications.


* Partners with stakeholders to create specifications and identify business requirements for systems and solutions to meet business needs.


* Defines, analyzes and proposes business solutions based on the business needs.


* May create/review/validate test plans, ensuring that the end result meets the specified business requirements -Supports QA activities as needed.


* Training of business users on JD Edwards applications and configurations.


* Collaborates with technical delivery and Consultant implementation teams on the details of technical solutions to validate that the strategic business needs are met.


* Participate in cross-functional integrated teams to address business and adoption issues (e.g., user experience, data flow, process flow).


* Participate in the development process, write detailed specifications and other steps of the product lifecycle. Must be able to read and understand technical designs.


* Conducts completed business requirements review with stakeholders and documents the acceptance of those requirements.


* Contributes and participates in the successful new implementation of JD Edwards.


* Post Go Live troubleshooting and support of JD Edwards applications.


* Must help Business with month-end, year-end closing. Periodically check and fix issues that come up in integrity reports.


* Call Oracle Support to resolve any Standard functionality issues.


* Review and make recommendations for application of POCs or ESUs.
