As a senior JavaScript engineer, you will help lead and mentor a team that owns a suite of applications built with web technologies, including desktop apps and responsive, universal JavaScript web apps. You will work closely with product leaders, designers and service engineers to create engaging, technically excellent solutions for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Own the full stack of our universal JavaScript applications
* Build robust web and desktop applications
* Implement new UI features from initial design through delivery
* Work with users, product management, and designers to define what they want, what they need and what can be delivered
* Continuously learn and master the latest industry standards and technology
* Relentlessly pursue the creation of better experiences for our customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 5+ years of browser development and 1+ years of Node.js experience.
* Deep experience with React and Redux
* Expert-level browser skills and API knowledge (browser storage, DOM, cross-browser support, CSS, HTML5)
* Fanatical about JavaScript, capable of coding custom solutions rather than relying on frameworks
* Experience writing unit tests and using code quality tools
* Competent with Node.js and full-stack, universal JavaScript
* Capable of tuning perceived and actual loading performance in browsers
