JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Javascript Engineer (Ad Technology) with a passion for ad technology to join our team. You will have the opportunity to implement change to improve our ad experiences across our existing and new, emerging platforms, and we want you to help us deliver the best ad experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build & optimize ad integrations into Fox consumer products and other platforms
* Advise internal technology teams on ad technology integration methods and processes
* Support & debug client-side ad delivery and performance issues
* Manage and mentor both developers on development
* Work closely and collaborate with technology teams across the organization
* Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape
* Help to evaluate vendors and third-party solutions
* Develop and maintain technical documentation on applications, processes and workflow
* Take leadership role in maximizing development workflow, with the goal of enabling team productivity as well as delivery of product roadmap on time and on budget
* Work on special projects and other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

* 3-5 years of experience in Javascript development
* Experience working with advertising technology and integrations
* A strong ability to teach oneself new skills with minimal hand-holding
* Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and to navigate demands of associates with competing needs
* Ability to work extended hours as needed, including some evenings and weekends, and to be on-call for emergencies is a requirement
* Excellent communication skills - both oral and written - with an impressive reputation for building and maintaining relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Interpersonal skills to work effectively and/or interact with the other staff, executives, colleagues and vendors
