In this role you will:

* Analyze, design, develop and implement J2EE-based Internet, multi-tier Client/Server, and Intranet applications
* Translate use case requirements, technical specifications and design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal and external clients
* Design and implement a high-performance service model based on legacy and new requirements
* Utilize Java frameworks and standards
* Prototype functionality for internal and client review
* Implement solutions using Oracle technologies such as WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS 11g, and ADF
* Follow software development methodology and architecture standards
* Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects; participate in other meetings, such as those for use case creation
* Formally document issues/defects and support issue/defect resolution until closure
* Develop estimates for design and implementation level of effort
* Conduct manual and automated unit testing

Required Qualifications

* 3+ years developing applications using Java in an Agile/Scrum environment
* 3+ years using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
* 3+ years in applying accessibility best practices (Section 508 compliance)
* 1+ years using PrimeFaces and ICEFaces
* 1+ years using JS frameworks like Angular JS or React JS
* 1+ years working with APIs, and integrating with external web services including REST, XML, or JSON
* Familiarity with Configuration Management methodologies and tools, including SVN, Github, GitLab, etc.
* Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Ability to quickly learn new applications.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
* U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and meet 3-year US residency requirement with the ability to attain a Public Trust clearance
