NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Java Developer to join our team in Austin, TX. Candidates local to Austin, TX are strongly preferred.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

* Develop end-to-end solutions of high complexity
* Research and develop new technologies and best practices
* Develops supporting application and process documentation for client and internal applications conforming to Agile Scrum
* Candidate will be pairing with developers and need to be able to understand code
* Design and develop complex applications in Complex data driven Web and Windows environment
* Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with development, Agile environment

Minimum of 5 years work experience with Java development

Preferred Skills:

* Software development experience (core language: Java) in an Agile environment, preferably using Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Strong experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
* Proficiency in several programming languages
* Clear understanding of cloud services, deployment models and distributed systems
* Experience with Java Design Patterns, Hibernate, Maven, JUNIT5, Java Mockito or other mock tools for testing, and Java logging Log4
* Experience with Front End JS frameworks(Angular) is a plus
* Hands On Experience with Spring Framework, creating REST webservices and persisting objects in Relational Databases
