Overview:

This is an opportunity to join the team supporting Chevron's top leaders and their staff. This customer facing role offers great visibility with both Functional and IT management, and a unique opportunity to interface with Chevron's most executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with good problem solving and customer service skills able to present themselves well to top leaders. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of technologies and will help the successful candidate build a strong network within Chevron. Project and leadership opportunities are anticipated in the upcoming years.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

* Dedicated Level 2 IT support for VIP Susbcribers: PC, peripherals/printers, mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, satellite phones, etc.), VIP Video/Audio Conference Support, Office 365, application support - Chevron/ non-Chevron PCs & proprietary software, encryption and access management support
* Project management for key internal processes concerning support for new products, procedures, or requirements
* Evaluation of new hardware/software/services in the VIP dedicated space - participation in pilot programs for new technologies
* Support for VIP Video and Audio Conferencing solutions
* Identification of potential improvement opportunities for VIP Dedicated IT team as well as VIP Dedicated subscribers
* Information Risk Management & Information Protection Coordination, VIP Dedicated IT support for Chevron GM+ level
* Training of VIP Dedicated Subscribers and Admins for new software and processes
* Occassional offsite conferencing or home visit support as needed

High visibility and interaction with Chevron's top GM level and above including IT managers

* Fast paced environment where quick, decisive, deliberate and effective solutions must be made on a day to day basis.
* This role requires a solid customer service mindset and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders.
* Must strive to continuously build a strong network of partnerships and know how to escalate executive IT issues appropriately while ensuring good prioritization is in place.
* Effective and non-technical communication is a must given the various levels of IT knowledge within the leadership and staff ranks.
* Need to be able to lead through influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required; knowledge of Chevron (GIL) desktop, Outlook, Video Conference, Cisco WebEx, and Mobility. Demonstrated breadth of skills in a wide range of technologies and a willingness to learn.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong customer facing support skills. Ability to tailor message based on type of audience (e.g. technical resource vs. executive). End user training desirable.
* Demonstrated strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills; ability to build relationships; proven ability to work on sensitive customer issues with professionalism and discretion. Able to present well to top Chevron leadership.
* Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and apply Operational Excellence / Chevron Way behaviors, especially with regards to Information Protection and Information Risk Management areas. Ability to apply technical solutions to business needs. Ability to analyze current and emerging technologies/processes for improvement opportunities.
