Provides network, software, and hardware support to users by performing the following duties.
* Installs and maintains servers, desktop PCs, laptops, and peripherals. Repairs and maintains wiring, hubs, and other networking components. * Assists and trains level I IS Technicians and handles complex inbound calls, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware and other computer-related technologies. * Interviews user to collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error. * Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.
Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of (2) two years related experience; or two to three years related experience
