Job Summary:

The Academic Computing and Communications Center (ACCC) is seeking a Part-Time IT Technical Associate (Identity and Access Management IAM Analyst). Under minimal supervision this position will work with development and production teams to ensure the implementation of proposed changes are in keeping with IAM standards and meet the business needs of the UIC community. IAM functions cut across all IT activities: most systems of record provide data to the IAM system, and virtually all IT systems and services need IAM services (identifiers & attributes, authentication & access management services) provided to them. This position helps to ensure ongoing maintenance & support of IAM functions for the UIC campus as well as UIC's participation in the overall University of Illinois' IAM program.

Duties:

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

20% Respond to questions, resolve requests and incidents concerning the multiple facets of IAM. Includes communication with end users and intermediary support staff.

20% Provide support of IAM tools and functions for departmental IT and/or

HR staff.

20% Create and maintain technical, operational, and project documentation.

10% Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analysis and resolution of multifaceted problems.

10% Collaborate with the Assistant Director of IAM and other team Managers to design IAM and related middleware services, maintain the IAM roadmap, and communicate it to and gain support for it from technical and functional leaders across campus.

10% Work with the various IAM teams to define functional and technical requirements and the technical architecture to address them.

5% Collaborate with technical SMEs, functional leads, and stakeholders across campus to gather IAM requirements and use cases.

5% Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Required:

* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field of study.
* A minimum of 1 year professional Information Systems Security which includes; demonstrated experience in assessing, monitoring and maintaining, and evaluating information security policies and systems, including hardware, firmware and software.
* Demonstrated experience in Identity and Access Management
