We are currently looking to hire an experienced IT Tech Support Associate to join us and play a critical role in supporting the front-line operations team within our Global IT warehouse and logistics site in Seattle.
The successful IT Tech Support Associate will be responsible for utilizing his/her skills resolving technical problems within the Global IT warehouse that cover a multitude of technical disciplines. Responsibilities include:
* Receiving, decanting, and storage of IT equipment and assets * Picking IT assets in preparation for asset transfers, configuration, and deployment * Re-stocking of IT inventory locations, vending and stores * Removal of IT assets from campus locations as required * Preparation of IT assets for transportation in line with IT and InfoSec polices * Imaging IT compute assets * Basic repairs of IT compute assets * Safe handling and destruction of IT media in accordance with InfoSec policy * Appropriate accountability of returned IT assets in accordance with compute reuse processes, reverse logistics processes, or disposal processes * Preparation of all new hire equipment and supporting campus IT support staff at new hire orientation * Support other teams in the tear down and removal of IT assets from staff who have left the organization, transporting these assets in accordance with InfoSec policy * Regular inventory audits * Garbage removal and recycling.
IT Tech Support Associates have the ability to move up 50lbs as well as stand and walk for 10-12 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodation. IT Tech Support Associates are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
