Job Description

An IT Systems Analyst job in Irvine, CA is now accepting applications. This is a 6 month contract position with our key Aerospace client. To be considered, you will have a B.S. Degree in Computer Science, along with 5+ years of experience with Domain knowledge of Active Directory management. In this role, you will perform Active Directory (AD) auditing across domains for technical and administrative user accounts, server objects, and privileged security groups.

IT Systems Analyst Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to lead in Active Directory evaluation activities

Perform domain audits of AD user, computer and group objects and permissions for technical and administrative user accounts, server objects, and privileged security groups

Auditing AD security posture using assessment tool to identify remediation steps for reducing risk, and executes remediation steps

Reviewing, consolidating, and documenting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) with an emphasis on security hardening

Responsible for performing health checks of infrastructure, ensuring that configurations reflect established security hardening settings and comply with the management strategy (e.g. single network interface)

Must be able to assist with migration of servers and applications from End-Of-Life (EOL) Operating Systems

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventories of managed infrastructure, identifying owners and criticality

IT Systems Analyst Job Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Computer Science

5+ years of experience with Domain knowledge of Active Directory management

3+ years of experience in Windows Server

Knowledge of Windows Server administration (This seems redundant based upon the information under the 1st bullet)

Knowledge of ESAE Administrative Forest Design Approach

Experience in ensuring enterprise security compliance
