Job Description

UCT is seeking a motivated candidate to join our IT Support team in Hayward, CA! The person in this role is the direct onsite support for all UCT users in the Bay area facilities. This position will primarily work from the help desk ticketing system servicing our employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform a wide range of duties, including onboarding employees, computer setups, installation of corporate enterprise applications, and mobile security setups.
* Leverage the internal help-desk support systems and processes to ensure that IT issues impacting employees are quickly resolved.
* Troubleshoot computer connectivity, hardware failures and Windows issues.
* Troubleshoot issues with MS Office, wireless, VPN, and printer connectivity.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Excellent customer service, communication and training skills.
* Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and research skills.
* Experience with managing Windows clients.
* An understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPN
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Problem-solving skills

Educational/Certification Requirement:

* Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

* One to three years of related IT experience.
