ICI Services is a fast growing employee-owned Company with our headquarters office located in Virginia Beach, VA. We are a mid-sized defense contractor and have a fast-paced and exciting work environment. We are looking for an IT Specialist to support a major shipbuilding Program Executive Office located at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC .

Security Clearance:

* Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance

Responsibilities:

You will be seated at the WNY embedded with the Government's IT staff and you will report to the Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO) and the contract IT Task Lead. As an IT Specialist, you will provide information technology (IT), wireless (WL), and multimedia (MM) support to the Activity by maintaining the readiness of the Activity's IT, WL and MM assets, resources, and capabilities. Specific duties include:

* Act as the ACIO's liasion and action officer with NMCI-NGEN, NAVSEA and other applicable commands in regards to all IT, WL and MM requirements. Identify, troubleshoot, escalate and resolve IT network resource issues, including system outages, software distribution, restricted access, and system upgrades
* Provide tiered IT help desk support to Activity end-users; IT network resource management support; tiered WL help desk support to Activity end-users; and MM scheduling, engineering and maintenance support. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware, software, and connectivity end-user issues
* Participate in applicable IT, WL, and MM working groups
* Respond to applicable IT, WL, and MM tasks and/or data calls
* Development and maintenance of applicable IT, WL, and MM processes, guidance, instructions, tracking systems and reporting metrics
* Provide IT onboarding support to new Activity end-users, including account activation, IT deployment, IT guidance, and network resource access
* Provide IT network resource management support to Activity end-user by maintaining authorized access to IT network resources, including applicable Activity collaborative resources, network shared drives, Outlook public folders, and network multi-functional device capabilities (MFDs)
* Act as the ACIO's Network Administrator alternate for the Activity network shared drive, including the management of applicable security groups and permissions; adherence to applicable NAVSEA processes and instructions; and conducting periodic data archiving and restructuring
* Provide MM scheduling, engineering and maintenance support, including conference room scheduling and conflict mitigation; conference room set-up and maintenance; and MM equipment testing and maintenance
* Act as the MM liasion with NMCI-NGEN, NAVSEA and other Commands to coordinate applicable VTC/Audio bridge services, including identifying Activity end-user requirements, obtaining applicable sevices; communication with applicable sites and/or participants; set-up and testing of services; and the monitoring of services throughout the duration of conference

Experience Requirements:

* 4 years' experience working for the Department of Navy (DoN) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) desired


* Experience in a fast-paced, professional, customer service environment supporting a wide range of customers, including Flag Officers, SESs, and front office VIPs is required


* Experience with ITIL processes and tiered IT help desk support services, processes and requirements required


* Experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating System (OS) required


* High level of proficiency with Office 2010 and Office 2016 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required


* Experience with the NMCI-NGEN environment is desired


* Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Pro and SharePoint 2013 applications desired


* Experience with multimedia (MM) equipment, including AMX operations and Cisco video-teleconferencing systems highly desired

Education/Certifications:

* BS/BA in a related field is desired, but not required
* A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certification desired


* ITIL Foundations certification desired
