Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Partners with support analysts and solution analysts to understand the business value, user stories, problem and needs, as-is and to-be processes, business data and acceptance criteria.
Converts functional specification into technical design document at a detailed level (including accounting for downstream/upstream impacts).
Drives for system process improvements, technical debt reduction and test automation.
Enables solutions that take into account APIs, security, scalability, manageability, usability, supportability, and other critical factors that contribute to complete solutions.
Works as part of an Agile Persistent Team and partners with other global virtual teams to deliver and support IT solutions. Provides L3/L4 support which may include on-call by rotation depending on business needs.
Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.
Technical skills required are SAP ABAP, SAP Reports, SAP Forms, New enhancement (User-Exits, BADI, BAPI), Data Migration, Batch Jobs, Know-how of RossattaNet PIPs (Partner Interface programs) - B2B, Knowledge of order management/warehouse management/material management (inventory management)/Logistics Execution processes.
