Inova Health System is a non-profit health organization based in Falls Church, Virginia, near Washington, D.C. The system is a network of hospitals, outpatient services, assisted living and long-term care facilities, and healthcare centers.

Inova Computer Operations is seeking an IT Provisioning Specialist to work in our world-class technology organization.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the organization and control of day to day operations including but not limited to provisioning inventory control systems repair shipping / receiving and infrastructure management; utilizing a host of monitoring hardware and software products to facilitate problem identification and rapid recovery of systems and network entities; exhibiting very strong oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate (technically and non-technically) with other team members, other technology services staff, customers, vendors, partners and leadership; ensuring successful and cooperative completion of tasks and projects and to resolve problems in a timely manner; and demonstrating the ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently required to ensure minimal disruptions and unplanned downtimes of assigned systems.

The ideal candidate will preferably have 7 years of IT work experience as well as a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.

Minimum requirements:

Experience:

3 to 5 years of IT work experience or currently performing job duties as well as a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a Science related field or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.

One certification or acquired within 6 months of hire.

Ability to plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures. Must be able to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility. Willing and competent in performing multiple tasks concurrently and responding to emergency situations effectively.
