IT Project Support OAED/TSD(Project Scheduler)

Responsible for supporting the USPTO OCIO in the areas of project management and facilitation within OAED/TSD, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. In addition, responsible for developing project management work products and contract deliverables.

Position Duties

* Assists one or more USPTO assigned Project Managers (PjM) with all phases of a project's lifecycle
* Provides project facilitation support to OCIO offices, as directed by the Task Order Manager (TOM), in order to effectively serve as a Critical Partner. This involves the organization and management of the influx of tasks from multiple projects, each with their own schedule and deadlines. This support includes creation of an intake process, status reporting, acceptance criteria and result documentation
* Provide weekly and monthly status reports to the TOM and COR for work performed, including an assessment of technical progress, schedule status, and any concerns or recommendations for the previous period
* Support USPTO Project Managers in the creation, and modification of Project level artifacts, reports and presentations, using the USPTO SDLC practices and templates
* Develop, Update, and Maintain project artifacts in the Enterprise Program Management System (EPMS)
* Coordinate, schedule, facilitate, and capture meeting minutes for all project related meetings
* Assist with documenting project plan activities, resource estimates and timelines for all planning efforts, design, development, testing, implementation, risk and issue registries, stage gate reviews and approvals required, training and documentation needed and support needs to deliver a system
* Establishes, builds, and maintains client relationship to successfully perform the tasks
* Identifies and analyzes new business opportunities; ensures that Addx is pursuing and investing in those opportunities supporting the IT business line growth
* Develops and negotiates strategic customer relationships resulting in significant growth for the IT business line
* Performs to service level agreements and performance metrics
* Maintains customer relationships with federal clients/contracting officials
* Assists with proposal development; to include authoring technical volumes

Position Qualifications

* Project Management Professional and/or Agile Scrum Certification preferred
* At least five (5) years of project support experience within Agile and Waterfall SDLCs
* Intermediate to Expert in MS Office 2013 and 2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Proficient in MS Excel macros, pivot tables, and other advanced features
* Required experience with MS Project Server 2013 and 2016 required (MS Project Professional and SharePoint)
* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies and Rally
* Proficient in Tableau and other similar tools
* Strong facilitation and cross-functional team facilitation skills
* Demonstrated technical troubleshooting expertise and customer service delivery
* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a multi-contractor environment
