Responsibilities

This candidate will lead large scale projects from design through Implementation. In addition to working directly with the project team, the candidate will interact with all aspects of the business stakeholders, multiple vendors, and executive leadership to report the project status and to obtain critical decisions when necessary. Projects assigned will be dynamic in nature, so the candidate must be capable of rapidly changing discussions, conditions, and decisions. The position will work in a fast paced, and continuous delivery environment. A successful candidate must have an outward thinking and collaborative mindset, be self-sufficient; and have strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

* Successful management, design, execution and deployment of assigned projects ensuring requirements are met, design reviews are held, budgets/timelines/priorities are respected, documentation is maintained, and final support hand-offs with training are performed
* Drive decisions and ability to negotiate timelines, tasks and deliverables
* Provide direction to internal and external resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status, and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation
* Collaborate with all Technology teams, business partners, and vendors to plan, organize, secure, and manage resources for assigned project efforts following software development lifecycle and project implementation policies and procedures as applicable
* Coordinate, facilitate, and lead meetings to accomplish project deliverables
* Independently research, analyze, identify, and document the tasks to achieve the project goals including; work statements, work breakdown structures, developing and tracking budget and schedule, tracking individual project tasks, providing risk analysis, tracking and resolving issues and action items, requirements gathering, quality assurance, providing various project management visibility and control measures and reports as needed and communicating to project team and stakeholders. Perform requirements gather and quality assurance as needed.
* Work closely with our business partners to understand their business and system problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements
* Analyze, define and map business processes. Produce project artifacts and business process models as needed for assigned projects.
* Trace the requirements through life cycle of the project to ensure that the scope is managed and that the original requirements are delivered
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required; major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred
* 5 - 10 years of work experience working with large scale project management
* Strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholder groups.
* PMP and/or Scrum Master Certification required, with deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
* Experience developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for new development projects, as well as develop detailed requirements for these projects
* Experience with Agile SCRUM Development and using JIRA
* Understanding of project management tools, processes, and strategic planning
* Strong MS Project, Visio, and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation and facilitation skills
* Must have practical experience with managing technology projects and be familiar with software development methodologies
* Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently and problem solve to ensure all projects are completed in an effective and timely manner

Desired Characteristics

* Experience managing eCommerce, mobile application, Point of Sale Systems, financial reporting, or SAP and Data Warehouse interface projects. (Highly desired)
* Knowledge of SQL, ASP.NET, C#, Angular.js, and Python and Server Architecture
* Self-motivated, well organized and strong innovation skills
