Job Description

Rutgers,The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an IT process Analyst- Continuous Improvement for Rutgers University Procurement. This position reports to the Manager, Continuous Improvement (CI) Team. The IT Process Analyst - Continuous Improvement is a member of the Procurement Center of Excellence organization and is responsible for identifying and optimizing business processes, as well as designing, configuring, creating, implementing, and maintaining Robotic Process Automations (RPA).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
* Works with the Continuous Improvement Manager, Business Process Analyst, and internal/external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
* Acts as the Rutgers SME / Domain expert for the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) ecosystem.
* Responsible for coding and maintenance of RPA bots which will follow standard SDLC methodology ((Develop code, maintain coding/testing, release management etc). Manages system life-cycle and maintain RPA programs.
* Utilizes expertise in RPA technology (Automation Anywhere, UI Path etc.) that include translation of process maps, developing of scripts and bots that will interface with Rutgers systems (Oracle, RU Marketplace, BI/BW data warehouses and other IT platforms) to automate business processes.
* Schedules and monitors Bot performance, manages exceptions and troubleshoots/remediates as required.
* Creates and maintains automation solution, and technical and training documentation.
* Supports implementation, adoption and maintenance of Procurement systems.
* Oversees spend management and spend analytics Source to Pay (S2P) tools and other procurement enabling solutions.
* Advises strategic sourcing team and other procurement members regarding best practices to develop analytical models or to implement data management tools within the organization.
