We're looking for an experienced Network Specialist to join our Global IT Communication Service Team who will work on the design, maintenance, and management of our global enterprise networks. What does the role involve?

As a network specialist, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient, secure and stable network infrastructure environment according to Hilti standards. By translating business needs into a high-performing and future-proof network setup, you will be a key enabler for Hilti's business excellence and digital aspirations. For this, you will collaborate with other Hilti cross-functional Business and IT teams as well as with external partners.

Develop and optimize Hilti's global network architecture with more than 1200 locations and the latest enterprise network technologies

Work in very close cooperation with partners in IT, Business, and external vendors

Manage and take the lead on assigned network services/areas and projects

Research technologies to enhance and evolve the network infrastructure

Partner with other Hilti cross-functional teams to provide IT technologies to increase operational efficiencies

Participate in global network engineering projects and maintain accurate network documentation

Other duties as assigned

What you need is:

* Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Engineering, or Science required
* Master's Degree preferred
* 0-5 years of experience
* Demonstrated strong performance and learning agility
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Aptitude and motivation to learn and excel in the areas of network routers and switches, routing protocols, WAN services and QoS, and switching technologies
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team skills
* Demonstrated ability to work within a global team environment
* Proven service orientation in problem solving and technical issues
