JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide expert oversight of manufacturing systems utilized by TPMs and 3PLs to ensure that the systems can support production activities meet established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, and wastage targets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

* Provide expert oversight of manufacturing systems utilized by TPMs for device manufacturing
* Provide expert oversight of manufacturing and distribution systems utilized by 3PLs
* Provide expertise in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of manufacturing systems utilized by TPMs and 3PLs
* Liaise with IT, operations, and TPM and 3PL personnel to resolve system issues impacting production
* Support data integrity activities for TPMs & 3PLs
* Support system integration projects to link Abbott systems with TPM & 3PL systems
* Support EDI implementation projects between Abbott ERPs and TPM & 3PL ERPs
* Provide oversight of TPM & 3PL system maintenance and downtime incidents to minimize impact to production

Minimum Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* Manufacturing control systems and automation experience
* Familiarity with TPMs & 3PLs operating model
* Experience with MES, PLC, DCS, SCADA, Oracle and SQL Databases, Manufacturing Networks, Inspection/Packaging/Vision systems, ERP, EDI

Preferred Skills:

* Medical device or biotech manufacturing systems experience
