Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified IT Hire to Retire Manager that will be based at our corporate office in Irving, TX.

The IT Hire to Retire Manager will be a key member of the IT organization reporting to the IT Director, Back Office Systems. He or she will be responsible for providing leadership, planning, support and management of the HR technology roadmap while working in partnership with all involved stakeholders to define technical solutions that meet current and future business needs.

What you'll get to do:

* Manages the delivery of Information Technology (IT) services for Hire to Retire software solutions for all business lines. Provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
* Ensures the Hire to Retire IT team meets business' requirements through existing business governance models while ensuring that HC Group standards are met.
* Oversees installation, implementation, upgrades and maintenance of various Hire to Retire software solutions.
* Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future business requirements.
* In conjunction with IT management and business leadership, drives toward the further standardization of existing Hire to Retire systems for all product lines.
* Evaluates business requirements and recommends solutions through:
* Conducting and preparing feasibility studies for new applications or revisions to existing systems.
* Preparing system development cost estimates, benefit analysis, and schedules.
* Developing project management proposals and presenting to management.
* Reviewing current system applications and making recommendations for enhancements.


* Develops and establishes standards and procedures. Ensures the ongoing effectiveness of IT systems controls and adherence to corporate standards, policies and values.
* Develops and maintains an organization with relevant skills and knowledge to support the effective and efficient use of Hire to Retire systems within the business.
* Plans and manages capital and operating budgets and controls IT costs
* Identify when specialized skills/resources are needed to capably assess unique activities (e.g. system risks, health and safety risks, etc.).
* Ensures compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
* Proactively manages health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

* College degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of seven (7) years of IT management experience in delivering Hire to Retire business requirements and managing Hire to Retire systems.
* Managed a team size of 5 to 7 Hire to Retire team members, solution architect, etc. Prior experience in a management or supervisory capacity is required; experience managing staff at multiple locations is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of benefits, payroll, performance management, compensation and learning management systems and business processes.
* Proficiency with JDE Payroll and Kronos is preferred.
* Knowledge of manufacturing ideally cement, ready-mix, aggregates, and concrete products operations and the corresponding business processes preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects on time and within budget.
* In depth understanding of business systems life-cycle and associated implementation methodologies, tools and techniques.
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
* Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.
* Good understanding of accepted operational and financial business practices.
* Knowledge of outsourcing and managing resources, vendors and projects in remote countries.
* Experience with the management of public and private cloud applications.
* Willingness to travel.
* Solid knowledge of the organization, the competences, and products of Lehigh Hanson and HeidelbergCement Group is preferred.
