Our IT Manager will provide desk top support, as well as record performance metrics measuring problem response times, system downtime, and outstanding issues.
* College degree or two (2) or more years of experience in the systems management or IT customer support.
* Knowledge of Intel based hardware and operating software such as Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server and Citrix Presentation Server required. * Additional experience working with medical claims, electronic medical records or insurance data is very helpful.
* Certifications in Microsoft and Citrix Product preferred.
* Assist in the implementation, maintenance and support of enterprise IT hardware infrastructure including but not limited to servers, networks, telephones, desktop computers, printers, and time clocks. * Manage MAC (move, add, change) process. * Implement communication products including: ordering, provisioning, installation and training of communications equipment. * Provide support for Cell Phones and other Phone Equipment. * Work with equipment vendors in the maintenance and repair of computer and communications equipment. * Write and maintains functional and technical specifications and operating documentation. * Monitor system production including: backups, printer queues, external interfaces and user authentication. * Install, Test and Train hardware and software systems. * Evaluate Recommend and Implement Infrastructure changes and upgrades. * Deploy technology to insure Wellpath is on the leading edge of technology in their marketplace. * Maintain functional and technical specifications and operating documentation. * Keep help desk logs and identify troubleshooting patterns and / or persistent issues. Recommend training and creative improvements to reduce help desk calls. * Create and maintain knowledge base of technical resources for employee use. * Test disaster recovery plan quarterly. * Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. * Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. * Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details. * Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis. * Perform other duties as assigned.
