The IT manager is responsible and accountable for Freebirds World Burrito IT department. The IT Manager will supervise and maintain our company's IT team, software and hardware needs and will have detailed knowledge of industry's best practice processes for 70+ locations, corporate office, and remote users.
Main Accountabilities * Install and maintain hardware including, but not limited to, computers, printers, copiers. Track software and hardware life cycle, warranty, and replacement plan. * Responsible for creating and administering disaster recovery plan. * Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems, firewalls, and quarterly audits. Includes e-mail and anti-virus system administration. * Responsible for all Aloha EDC credit card recovery and loss prevention tactics. * Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods to reduce downtime and lower repair costs * Responsible for managing IT department ticketing system. Identify trends and implement strategic solutions. * Recommend and maintain strict corporate PCI guidelines. * Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures. * Responsible for all MS Office/iOS updates and maintenance companywide. * Maintain Active Directory for all VPN users. * Responsible for vendor management (including coding and auditing related invoices and subscriptions). * Manage phone and voicemail systems companywide. * Manage IT department; including On-call Rotation schedule. * Works closely with executive team and department managers to determine technical direction and needs of the company. * Additional duties as assigned. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline * 3 years' work experience as an IT manager or relevant experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry * Experience supporting IT for multi-unit operations on a national scale. * Advanced understanding of Point of Sale software; NCR Aloha preferred (including Command Center and Aloha Configuration Center). * RingCentral * Basic IT networking comprehension. LAN Network security knowledge of Sonicwall or Meraki gateways. * Basic PCI Compliance fundamentals * Previous knowledge and management of IT ticketing software (ZenDesk preferred). * Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems. * Proven track record of implementing/maintaining/completing IT related projects. * Ability to maintain a system of keeping the team organized and task focused. * Excellent knowledge of Windows Office and iOS platforms * 20% travel within region (Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, California)
