Job Description

Summary

The IT intern should be a current DePaul or UIC undergraduate student who is ambitious about technology and service excellence with a future career goal of working in information technology. The selected students will have a primary placement and daily responsibilities and tasks within an assigned IT group and will participate in technology implementation and research projects, as needed. During their internship, they will have opportunities to work with IT Operations, Project and Security teams, as opportunities arise. They must have a class schedule that allows them to work at least two days each week for at least four hours per day for at least six months or until graduation or business needs change. * Project Management and IT Business Solutions
* IT Security

Pay is $20/hour.

Education and/or Experience:

Required:

* Current sophomore, junior or senior student pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security or related IT discipline
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to learn new concepts and technology quickly

Preferred:

* Experience installing and configuring operating systems and applications on PCs
* Previous IT internship
