If so, our IT Helpdesk Support role might be the perfect fit for you!


Relic Entertainment, a wholly owned studio of SEGA, is the award winning RTS developer of Homeworld, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes and Age of Empires, and we’re on the hunt for a Helpdesk Support Technician to work in our Vancouver studio in a full-time permanent role. As a studio, our role is to create a workplace where people are energized and empowered to not only do their best work but to continually surpass their best. We’ll push you out of your comfort zone to become the best version of you by giving you the ownership and creative freedom to solve our most challenging problems.

As part of our IT Helpdesk Support team you will…

  • Be the first line of technical support for all employees
  • Review and action helpdesk requests through Relic’s Helpdesk ticketing system – prioritizing and escalating as required
  • Be a part of the setup, testing and maintenance of all computer hardware and software
  • Support new hire setup and studio moves – ensuring both are as pain-free as possible
  • Assist team with the installation and configuration of workstations, peripherals, printers and various IT equipment
  • Assist the team with troubleshooting hardware, software, A/V boardrooms, printers and phones

We’re looking for someone who has…

  • A love for technology & games!
  • Exceptional customer service, attention to detail & strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with a positive attitude
  • A Computer Science degree/diploma or previous IT support experience
  • Hands on experience with: Office365, Windows 10 (both administration and support), Active Directory, and Digital Media application suites
  • Knowledge of Windows Imaging tools and process

  • Experience working within a game studio or software development company
