True Value Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of architectural paints, aerosols, solvents and paint applicators has an immediate opening for an IT HelpDesk Specialist - Entry Level in our Cary, IL manufacturing facility.Ideal Candidate will deliver quality customer service to True Value Associates by provideing them with a single point of contact to report problems or make inquiries relating to IT Systems
Respond to all Help Desk calls in timely and professional manner. This includes basic (level 1) calls and complex (level 2) calls.Log in all questions and problems, action items, and follow through on resolutions.Ensure problem resolution by maintaining action plan, initiating and tracking problem assignments to technical resources, vendors, and True Value cross-departmental resources. Follow through, updating the associate until a resolution is achieved.Maintain/Reconcile inventory, calculate monthly statistics, run special reports.Develop documentation on processes and procedures.
One to three years experience.Know fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular process.Follow basic procedures with little need to vary routine; escalates issues outside of known procedures.Possess proficient understanding of widely used PC applications (above plus presentation)
