The MPC (MES Process Coordinator) functions as an IT Leader supervising the Local MES team to develop the respective MES solutions Software and Hardware to the different plant needs. The MPC shows apptitudes in understanding and working with Manufacturing teams and local MES Team to ensure the needs and requirements are captured, documented and communicated, for new production lines and, process and product changes to Existing or New systems solutions.
This Job Description is not limited to any other job related activities that might arise. • Leads the IT MES local team for supporting the MES Software/Hardware solutions across the plant,
* Leads the IT MES local team for MES Project Team implementation, * Leads the IT MES Application Development Team for implementing MES Software/Hardware solutions across the plant (from requirements analysis through design, implementation and support) * Secures the MES knowledge (Knowhow) for the Nogales location, * Collects local MES requirements and transfer them to the MES development Centers (locally or externally), * Leads the appropriate assistance/support for all departments of the plant which are in direct contact with MES, * Defines the Traceablity Concepts for each Product or Production lines per single unit, * Coordinates locally System Tests and Updates to the MES System, * MES Project Manager (Launch Management), * IT MES point of contact with our various Automotive Customers (ie GM, Ford, BMW, etc) to securing an appropriate data transfer solution.
Software Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent. English 95%
* Experience 5 years on IT. • Experience with Manufacturing processes. * Excellent understanding of the PL/SQL programming language. • Process modeling. • Unix scripting and Windows Client administration.• Software and Systems Engineering practices.• knowledge on:programming languages
