We are currently recruiting for a Desktop and Application Support - IT

At Mandarich Law Group, LLP, we are looking for great people to bring their passion and strong work ethic to the job. We are a creditors' rights law firm located in Downtown, Chicago. You should expect to handle high volumes of tasks and have your performance measured to expecations. We are looking for hard working and high achieving personality types.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM.

Summary:

As a Desktop Support you will be responsible for first-level problem determination, problem/incident recording, and problem resolution and escalation. This position provides support to end users on a variety of issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (not an all inclusive list and company reserves the right to add, amend, change, duties and responsibilities at any time based on business need):

* Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support
* Provides first-level problem determination
* Problem/incident recording
* Problem resolution
* Problem escalation
* Supported products and services include:
* Networks
* Client/server systems
* Business systems
* PCs and thin clients
* Desktop application software
* Peripheral devices

Qualifications:

Education/Training

* High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Associates Degree in Related Area Preferred

Experience

* Good communication skills (written and oral)
* Strong desire to learn
* 1 to 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area is Required

Applications

* Microsoft Office Suite, including outlook
* Microsoft Windows 7, 10, Server 2012, Server 2016, including group policy management and domain controllers

MARGINAL DUTIES

Marginal Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple to mildly complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple to mildly complex correspondence.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP Standard Operating Procedures and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
