Job Description

Overview

The Data Conversion Specialist works with active clients, providing support for the conversion for client data from their prior systems in preparation for migration to FACTS SIS products. This position works in conjunction with a variety of departments throughout Operations, including Implementation, Sales, and Support to provide outstanding service to client schools.

Responsibilities Collect and manipulate client data from third-party systems in preparation for conversion to RenWeb systems. Trouble-shoot complex problems with client data prior to import. Proactively resolve issues by identifying potential problems and implementing solutions and prevention methods. Perform issue intake via phone, email, and IM. Collaborate with clients and all other teams involved in regular activities. Multi-task and resolve complex problems. Communicate when additional resources are needed to handle support workload. Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in a technical environment. 2+ years of technical experience with data applications. Extensive experience in examining, investigating and solving dynamic problems. SQL background a plus.

Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Access Ability to think "out-of-the-box" and develop creative solutions. Familiarity with SQL and T-SQL commands. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable interacting with other teams and departments. Flexibility to cover extended hours on a rotating basis.
