Provide business, technical expertise for the firms SAP S/4 HANA Financial system. This position requires configuration and solution expertise to provide application/functional support primarily in the GL modules. Experience with Consolidation/BPC and AP, Fixed Assets, AR and Project Systems is preferred. Significant experience in SAP is required to provide guidance and insights to project team members and the business.
Responsibilities:
* Configuration of functions within FI/CO, specializing in General Ledger configuration and processing with debugging knowledge. * Must have thorough understanding and knowledge of foreign currency Valuation/Translation - with additional currency setup * Must have experience working in organization with multiple (parallel) ledgers and through understanding of multi-GAAP environment. * Must have hands on configuration knowledge of all SAP FI modules. * Basic understanding of real time consolidation (RTC) and BPC * Experience with inter-company processes and VAT configuration and functionality across all modules. * Develop and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs * Provide support, implement fixes and additional functionality * Analyze data and processes to identify/troubleshoot problems, and recommend preventive action * Proactively provide status on all activities to appropriate stakeholders * Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems * Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices * Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end state deliverable * Develop functional design specifications in support of existing and new application requirements * Collaborate with various teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution and minimize impact to performance * Develop and execute functional unit test cases in support of new application requirements * Work with cross functional teams to perform test activities (e.g. integration, performance, user acceptance) * Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and manage handoffs with an onsite / offshore model
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of hands on experience with SAP GL and Consolidation modules. * Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and manage handoffs with an onsite / offshore model * Thorough understanding of the integration across SAP modules. * Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle implementation and production support * Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization * Strong solution skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite * Experience with SAP Consolidation, budget & Planning aplus * Experience with the SAP Analysis for Office reporting tool, front and back-end, a plus.
