As an experienced Windows IT Architect, you will be a key contributor and subject matter expert for enterprise wide technologies to support Webroot's rapid growth. As Webroot's IT Architect-Windows, based at World Headquarters in Broomfield, CO. you will engage in many parts of the entire global organization to ensure alignment with our global business strategy. The IT Architect provides highly technical implementation services for new initiatives, and services for the internal employees of Webroot. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience identifying opportunities, aligning priorities with the business, scoping solutions, assisting in the budgeting and contract negotiation process, planning, implementation and training. Strong customer service orientation is required along with expert knowledge of Windows operating system and implementing audio visual hardware. As you advise our IT and business leaders of the latest technology trends and the potential impact these could have if applied to future projects and/or programs, you will see the impact of your work on a world-class organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Lead and/or participate in global projects, programs and implementations relating to new or upgraded technologies
* Scope, evaluate and recommend potential solutions
* Select and interface with vendors or resellers to generate quotes, statements of work, and contracts
* Function as 3rd level escalation for desktop or client incidents and function as an expert technical resource for global IT support team
* Serve as technical advisor to IT Management and assist in defining the technology roadmap and strategy
* Participate in an on call rotation for IT Operations, responding to critical after-hours incidents

Skills required but are not limited to:

* 8+ years of experience supporting end-user computing, unified communications, and mobile devices in the enterprise, multi-regional environments
* 5+ years in a senior desktop support, architecture, or comparable role
* Demonstrated experience leading a successful project, cross-functionally, from conception through implementation to multiple global regions
* Demonstrated experience designing IT services for new or expanded global offices
* Expert knowledge of client hardware, software and applications troubleshooting, including Windows 10, MFA, Single Sign On, networking technologies, and diagnostic utilities
* Strong demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, Workstation ONE, etc.
* Demonstrated experience administering a PC deployment and software packaging and distribution platform, including scripting and PowerShell
* Experience supporting Apple hardware and MacOS
* BA/BS degree preferably related to computer science and/or equivalent work experience
* Industry standard certifications such as MCSA, MCSE or A+ a plus
