* The IoT Systems Engineer will analyze and define system requirements for various connected products for cabin applications such as baggage management and catering solutions.
* He/she will be responsible for development, integration and testing of hardware, software, mechanical aspects of prototype system to verify the functional performance.
* Work with cross functional teams, suppliers/partners during the development to provide inputs

Summary of Duties:

* Understand and analyze connected products/systems for baggage management and catering
* Define and capture system level requirements and distribute to underlying sub-components
* Develop system level analysis and simulation models to accurately understand the performance and define the requirements for hardware, software and mechanical teams.
* Define and capture various interface requirements within the system such as electrical, software and mechanical interfaces based on the system in the context
* Coordinate with consultants, partners/suppliers, external and internal customers during the prototype development
* Work with team to coordinate, develop, and integrate IoT applications from functional proofs-of-concepts to production ready, scalable solutions
* Conducts routine tasks as directed
* Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science with 0 to 1 years' experience

Computer Skill:

* A passion for the possibilities of making "things" do intelligent actions in the Internet of Things (IoT)
* Passion for understanding how things work and exploring new technologies
* High level understanding of machine learning and vision technology concepts
* Strong background in mathematics and/or statistics is highly desirable
* Experience in Python, C/C++ to be able to evaluate various tools and components
* Experience with GitHub, SVN, and GRUB configuration and automation.
* Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop
* Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Skills:

* Effective oral and written communications skills
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
* Analytical, problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.

Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)

* Understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure, security, and deployment options: Example - AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
