The Tactical Battle Management Command, Control, Control, Communications, and Computers (BM/C4) Department is looking for talented candidates to help implement the US Air Force's emphasis on revolutionized acquisition to get the warfighter capability more quickly. We are looking for a software systems engineer to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to solve enterprise level software challenges for the International Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) programs. The successful candidate will assist in defining future modifications that adapt current commercial software development methodologies for partner nations' AWACS systems. Opportunities for international travel are associated with this position but international travel is not required.

Key qualifications:

* Desire to lead software engineering efforts across a diverse set of International AWACS programs
* Experience with software development and testing processes including evaluation of software metrics and software test coverage
* Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and briefing skills with experience working on multi-disciplinary teams
* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
* A bachelor's degree in a related field

Desired Qualifications:

* Familiarity with different software development methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, DevOps)
* Experience with software source code analytics and evaluation tools
* Experience with DoD programs through stages of development including design, implementation, and test
* A master's degree in a related field with 3 years of experience
