Job Description

Business Integrity's mission is to ensure safe and trusted connections between people, businesses, and Facebook. This means providing ways to help good advertisers connect their products, services, and content with the people that want them, and making it harder for bad actors to take advantage of our platform. We are looking for engineers that share our passion for helping to make FB a safe place for people and businesses to connect across the world. The right candidates will be comfortable in a fast-moving organization, excited to collaborate, and focused on positively impacting the experience for content reviewers. This position is full-time and is based in our office in Seattle, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build complex enterprise systems, workflows, and high-quality tools enabling content review at scale



Build highly reliable and performant systems with appropriate monitoring and alerting

Code using primarily PHP/Hack and JavaScript/React

Conduct design and code reviews

Work closely with product managers, product designers, and partner engineers to lead or contribute to large-scale strategic projects

Use engineering skill sets in a business organization to drive meaningful business impact by looking at problems through an operational lens

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years of programming experience



Experience writing self-documented code

Experience assessing, analyzing and resolving issues using data

Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Programming experience in PHP, Hack, JavaScript, or React



Experience working with or in support of global communities

BA/BS degree (quantitative backgrounds preferred but not a must)
